Nothing to do and nobody to be.

She best describes her interests and hobbies with a blank stare, an awkward smile and a prolonged shrug of her shoulders. This is not due to a lack of interests, rather just a lack of passion for the current, yet old ones, and the inability to find something new to get excited about. With time, the interests she once had have turned into mere 'things' she used to do as a child and it soon turned to the independent thought of "if they're doing it, then I will too." Not so much as a feeling of forcefulness, but the slight feeling of obligation to keep herself occupied and them happy. Music runs in her blood, so piano lessons from the age of 5 until she gets sick of it and refuses to go anymore. Joining a sporting team could fit in nicely and we'll get her in the industry, regardless of whether she likes it or not.

This isn't to say that all of it was unappreciated, that it was a waste of time or that it's not enjoyed. She's just trying to hint that it's not for her, that maybe there is something else out there.
